The figure itself was easy to make. I started with a Shodo Kamen Rider head and body from two different figures, and then I got the idea to use some of my Citadel skulls to give it a more evil look.I cut 2 human skulls in half and then glued them to the gloves with loctite Super Glue Gel, and did the same with another skull (Ork?) for the belt. Originally I was planning on adding one of the demon skulls to the helmet, but it didn't look right. I then got the idea to glue the horns of it to the shoulders, and I glued the remaining portion to the right lower leg.
For paint I started with the gloves, boots, armor and helmet. I used Citadel Mournfang Brown for the boots gloves, and belt, Mephiston Red for the helmet and armor, and Wraithbone for the shoulder horns. I then painted the rest of the body wit a dark grey mixed from The Army Painter Matt White and Matt Black. Then, to start Highlighting I used Reaper MSP HD Rusty Red for the armor/helmet, Citadel Rakarth Flesh for the gloves, boots and belt, a drybrush of Matt White for the horns, and another custom mix for everything else. I then painted the skulls with Citadel Leadbelcher before going on to the wash stage.
To shade the figure I first washed the red and brown with Citadel Agrax Earthshade, then everything else with Army Painter Dark tone. then, to tone down the highlights, I glazed each color with a mix of Liquitex Glazing Medium and the darkest tone I had used, though for the red I used Citadel Khorne Red instead of Mephiston. Then, since the glazing medium left a glossy finish, I sprayed the whole figure with Krylon Clear Matte.
